Easy to Fabricate
Plastic materials that are easy to shape
Most plastics can be shaped using woodworking machinery such as saws, routers, and drills. It’s important to use sharp blades and bits specifically designed for plastic fabrication in order to maintain low stress and to achieve a good surface finish.
ABS, acetal, nylon, and acrylics are easy to fabricate using saws and routers.
Acrylic
Outstanding strong, stiff, clear plastic available in a variety of brilliant colors and finishes.
Aluminum Composite Material (ACM)
Low-cost ACM offers good dimensional stability and a metallic look, at half the weight of aluminum.
