A manufacturer of emergency vehicles needed durable plastic materials for their interior cabinetry. They selected KYDEX® Thermoplastic sheet for the surfaces of their cabinets.
Tough and chemically resistant with excellent flammability characteristics
KYDEX® Thermoplastics are tough, resistant to cleaning chemicals, and they have excellent flammability characteristics. The designers selected a number of custom colors of KYDEX® to match different vehicle color schemes.
Tough, transparent TUFFAK® polycarbonate sheet was specified for the cabinet doors. The designers selected a hard-coated grade, TUFFAK® AR, for additional chemical resistance and scratch resistance.
