Bottling Machinery Manufacturer Struggles With Machine Guard Part Geometry

Supplied CNC routered polycarbonate machine guards increase manufacturing efficiency

bottling manufacturingA manufacturer of bottling machinery was making their machine guards from ½" thick polycarbonate sheet. The guard on top of their machinery was particularly challenging since it had a circular geometry.

They were cutting this guard on one of their large mills. This created a bottleneck in manufacturing since the mill was also used to cut star wheels and guide rails.

Supplied CNC routered parts keep manufacturer on schedule

The purchasing manager at the factory contacted Curbell Plastics to discuss the polycarbonate guards. Curbell was able to supply the parts cut-to-size using one of our state-of-the-art CNC routers.  This eliminated the manufacturing bottleneck and allowed manufacturing to stay on schedule
