Meet Ian
Ian Parsons is an Outside Sales Representative for Curbell Plastics’ Seattle location. He works with customers across the Pacific Northwest to source plastic materials, identify options they may not know exist, and find practical solutions that support their goals. With experience in outside sales, machine design, and support for aerospace integrators, Ian brings a hands-on perspective to solving customer challenges.
A Partner in Your Success
Before joining Curbell, Ian worked in sales engineering for PCB components, machine tool component design, and as a CNC machinist and tool room manager. He was also self-employed for two years with filtration, conveyors, robot arm end effectors, and work positioning equipment. This experience gave him insight into countless machine shops and industries.
Ian is driven by a commitment to accuracy and thoughtful execution, often summing up his approach as, “Measure twice, cut once.” He draws on his experience to guide customers toward the right material and solution, helping them avoid costly missteps and improve outcomes. Known for his collaborative style, Ian works closely with both customers and internal teams to align on goals and deliver results. He also recognizes the important role plastics can play as a sustainable alternative to traditional materials, helping customers achieve the right balance of performance, cost, and efficiency.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys backpacking, skiing, and hiking, along with car maintenance and restoration, fabricating components, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his wife and dog.
