Scott Reed is Senior Business Development Manager for the Aerospace market. With strong relationships in the aerospace industry, he can assist in securing the right material for your application and work with our strategic partners to put together programs.  With aerospace being a global industry, these programs ease supply chain constraints by getting products closer to those doing the work.  Our customers experience shortened lead times with Curbell, who understands the nature of the business and their unique requirements.

A Partner in Your Success

According to Scott, plastics continue to evolve versus other materials in aerospace. He says it is always rewarding to find a new material for an application and see it bring about efficiencies and higher degrees of safety. The needs and pains of the customer inspire Scott as much as the nos, can’ts and what-ifs, drive him.

Throughout Scott’s 18 years of plastics experience, he has specialized in the aerospace industry. With an extensive chemistry curriculum during his undergrad, Scott better understands and embraced the more technical aspect of polymers and their application space.

Outside of work, Scott lives in the Dallas, Texas area and enjoys flying airplanes, although he misses having time for that. More importantly, he loves his family and especially enjoys spending time with them at the ocean.
