PSU
High temperature, semi-transparent plastic material with good mechanical properties
PSU (polysulfone) is a high temperature, amber colored, semi-transparent plastic material with good mechanical properties.
Polysulfone is resistant to degradation from hot water and steam and it is often used in medical and food preparation applications where repeated sterilization is required. FDA compliant grades available.
Polysulfone can be used as an alternative to polycarbonate or acrylic for applications requiring high temperature performance or exposure to hot water and steam. For PSU chemical resistance view our chart.
