RAKU-TOOL® Working Boards (WB) are dense and strong combining high quality with excellent mechanical properties. They require relatively slow machining speeds due to their high density.

RAKU-TOOL® WB-0801 (gray, 50 lbs/ft3)– has a fine surface structure, good dimensional stability and compressive and flexural strength. WB-0801 offers high HDT and very low CTE. It is perfect for master models, cubing models, tooling jigs and fixtures, and vacuum forming tools.

RAKU-TOOL® WB-1405 (red, 87.5 lbs/ft3)– has a dense surface structure, good dimensional stability, and good abrasion resistance and impact strength. It is very easy to machine. WB-1405 works well for pattern plates and core boxes, machined negatives and positives, models, molds and tools, and hammer forms.
