Curbell Plastics Combines Two Facilities and Opens Larger Operation in the San Diego Area
Consolidated operations in Chula Vista include both fabrication and distribution capabilities to better serve customers

Curbell Plastics, Inc., one of the nation’s premier suppliers of plastic sheet, rod, tube, film, adhesives, sealants, and prototyping materials, has relocated its two San Diego operations to one new, larger facility to better serve its customers. The new facility, located in Chula Vista, CA combines fabrication and distribution capabilities under one roof.
The 26,000 square foot facility, located at 1670 Brandywine Avenue, Chula Vista, more than doubles the combined square footage of its existing operations, allowing for greater efficiency and the ability to grow. The facility will also include new equipment including an ONSRUD Router and a computerized Schelling Saw. The two San Diego locations were recent acquisitions, including the former M&M Plastics, Inc. located in Miramar acquired in July 2016 and Plastics & Metals Enterprises dba Cal Plastics and Metals, Inc., located in Chula Vista acquired in December 2016. Both businesses have been operating as Curbell Plastics since the acquisitions.
According to James Forcellina, Senior Regional Director for Curbell Plastics, “More space, new equipment and the right personnel will significantly enhance our ability to focus on our customer and their requirements. Integrating both M&M Plastics and Cal Plastics and Metals into the Curbell Plastics family has been a very smooth transition and we expect the new facility will allow us to continue to offer highly responsive customer service, both in fabrication and distribution.“
The move was handled in two phases with the new facility officially opening May 14th with 20 employees.
