Trendy Shoe Store Gets a Great Look from KYDEX® T

A trendy shoe store chain wanted a new look with bright colors to drive consumer traffic. The interior design team wanted the store fixtures and wall panels to be manufactured using the same custom color to support and promote their brand.
KYDEX® T Thermoplastic Sheet available in custom colors to promote your brand
The designers chose a custom orange color of KYDEX® T Thermoplastic Sheet for the project. The display bases and tops were manufactured by membrane pressing KYDEX® T Sheet over MDF. This created a durable, seamless design. The vertical pedestals were made from 0.060” thick KYDEX® T Sheet, wrapped around bendable plywood cylinders. The matching wall panels were bent using a sheet metal brake and then installed to the walls with a structural adhesive.
KYDEX® T Thermoplastic Sheet is extremely durable, which helps the fixtures resist damage from customer traffic. The material comes standard with a P3 Velour Matte surface texture, which helps to hide fingerprints.
