Stereolithography (SLA) Resins
Rapid prototyping materials that replicate polyethylene, polypropylene, and ABS
Stereolithography is a common rapid manufacturing and rapid prototyping technology for producing parts with high accuracy and good surface finish. Stereolithography (SLA) resins are liquid UV-curable photopolymers used in this process. Regardless of what industry you're in (aerospace, automotive/motorsports, consumer goods, and others), new product developers rely on high-performance prototypes to test their design concepts.
DSM Somos® has developed a full line of rapid prototyping materials that replicate the performance parameters of production materials, saving both time and money in new product development. From thermoplastic elastomers to polyethylene, polypropylene and ABS, DSM Somos® resins provide solutions for many applications.
