PVDF Properties

Physical, mechanical, thermal, electrical, and optical properties of PVDF

PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) often referred to by its trade name Kynar®, is a high purity engineering thermoplastic. It exhibits excellent chemical, abrasion, and flame resistance, and good UV stability. PVDF is easy to weld using thermoplastic welding equipment. It is widely used for chemical tank liners, piping, nozzles, fittings, seals, and gaskets, and semiconductor equipment components.

PVDF is available in FDA compliant grades. Please ask your Curbell Plastics representative for more specific information.
