LE Linen Phenolic is an electrical grade high strength composite that consists of phenolic resin impregnated into layers of woven linen fabric. It is strong and stiff with excellent creep resistance and outstanding dimensional stability, at a relatively low cost. LE Linen Phenolic is used for industrial applications like insulators for electromechanical devices, gears, rollers, jigs, fixtures, and more.
LE Linen Phenolic is NEMA rated for use in electrical insulating applications, and is also available in non-electrical grades including filled formulations that are engineered for superior friction and wear performance. Linen Phenolic can be used for machined parts that have small geometric features. Please ask your Curbell Plastics representative for more specific information.
