Aluminum composite material (ACM) offers good dimensional stability and a metallic look, at half the weight of aluminum. It is a three-layer sandwich panel consisting of two pre-painted aluminum sheets bonded to a polyethylene (PE) core. Designers and engineers often substitute ACM panels for aluminum sheets or wood in interior and exterior signage, structural signage, architectural cladding, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, exhibits, and kiosks.
ACM is available in several colors, metallic finishes, and thicknesses. This material is rigid, yet lightweight, easy to machine, fabricate, and bond. It offers good dimensional stability. Please ask your Curbell Plastics representative for more specific information about an individual brand.
