Dr. Keith Hechtel, Sr. Director of Business Development for Curbell Plastics, Inc., delivered a presentation entitled Women in Plastics – Career Challenges and Opportunities to a group of 50 plastics industry professionals. The presentation was part of a networking event sponsored by Martino Marketing Group and the International Association of Plastics Distribution. It took place at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Hechtel commented on the content of his presentation, “Women who work in the plastics industry face a number of career challenges that are different from those of their male counterparts. The presentation provided an overview of some fascinating scholarly research on the careers of women. It also included suggestions about what women can do to accelerate their career growth and what managers who supervise female employees can do to promote the career success of women in their organizations”.
