International Association of Plastics Distribution honors Curbell Plastics for education, marketing, and environmental efforts

Orchard Park, N.Y., August 31, 2021 – Curbell Plastics, Inc., one of the nation’s top suppliers of plastic sheet, rod, tube, tapes, and fabricated parts, was recently recognized by industry peers as a leader in the performance plastics industry. This year Curbell was honored by the International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) with awards in three categories: Education Circle of Champions, Environmental Excellence, and Marketing Excellence.

2021 marks the sixth consecutive year Curbell Plastics received the Gold Level Education Circle of Champions award. This award was for Curbell’s use of IAPD training resources as well as extensive and continually evolving internal training programs, led by Jinny Kcehowski, Associate Director of Training & Development, which reflect the company’s core values and its emphasis on developing the plastics leaders of tomorrow.

For the seventh consecutive year, Curbell Plastics was awarded the Gold Level Environmental Excellence Award which celebrates the environmentally responsible practices of IAPD members. Mark Shriver, the Director of Safety & Environmental Affairs, has led Curbell in developing industry leading sustainable strategies such as recycling, conservation, community outreach, and employee engagement.

Lastly, Curbell Plastics received the Marketing Excellence Silver Award, which acknowledges the innovative or exemplary marketing initiatives of IAPD member companies. Led by Sherrie Bloom, Associate Director of Marketing, Curbell’s marketing efforts included email campaigns, social media posts, public relations activities, video creation, and integrated marketing campaigns promoting the positive benefits of performance plastics.
