Orchard Park, NY, October 5, 2015 – Orchard Park-based Curbell Plastics, Inc., one of the nation’s premier suppliers of plastic sheet, rod, tube, film, adhesives, sealants and prototyping materials has been honored by the International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) with an Environmental Excellence Award. The company won in the Gold Level and Best Overall Program.

Curbell Plastics was honored with the award at the opening general session during the 59th Annual IAPD Convention in San Diego, CA. The awards were established in 2008 as a way to celebrate the environmentally responsible practices of member companies in the plastics industry. Curbell was noted as best overall based on their use of environmentally conscious practices in the areas of recycling, conservation, community outreach, employee engagement, and more. The annual awards were revamped for 2015 and now include assigning a point value to each company for environmental best practices. Curbell also received Environmental Excellence Awards from IAPD in 2013 and 2014.
