Patrick Castrechini brings more than 15 years of combined experience in business development, management, and the plastics industry to his role as Business Manager of the Curbell Plastics Western New York and Rochester locations. He serves customers in the transportation, machining, sign manufacturing, food processing, and other industries throughout Buffalo, Rochester, and the Niagara Frontier.
Customers and colleagues alike appreciate Patrick’s authentic, hands-on approach to finding innovative ways performance plastics can increase efficiency and meet a wide range of needs. That helps him stimulate and drive collaboration among sales teams and specialists focused on tapes, plastic films, fabricated parts, and other materials. Working together, they guide customers through plastic material selection for challenging applications, as well as finding greater value through Curbell’s specialized services such as cut-to-size, machined parts, consignment, and packaging and kitting.
Patrick is a strong proponent of Curbell’s core values — integrity, respect, and learning — upon which the company builds partnerships with new and existing customers. His passion for education and mentorship drives his participation in many leadership programs and professional development activities, both at Curbell Plastics and in the community. For example, he regularly mentors high school and college students engaged in high-tech competitions to inspire the robotics and engineering leaders of tomorrow.
Prior to joining Curbell, Patrick worked as business development manager for a company in Rochester, New York, that provided customized facility solutions. He was responsible for industrial sales, facility maintenance contracts, and professional service memberships.
When he’s not delivering results for his customers or spending time with his family, Patrick can often be found coaching youth lacrosse and football.
A Partner in Your Success
“The success of a customer relationship relies on many departments in an organization,” Patrick says. “Communication is key, and we all have to have the same end goal of creating long-term relationships.”
Patrick learned long ago that every day is different in the plastics industry. Because Curbell Plastics serves customers in a wide array of markets, he says, that gives him daily exposure to many different applications and materials — along with the opportunity to learn something new each day, such as new plastic fabrication or sign manufacturing processes or proprietary materials utilized in high-performance applications.
“It keeps you focused and forces you to perform at an optimal level,” Patrick says. “I feel lucky to be part of an organization that provides an abundance of tools, departments, and individuals that nurture customer success.”
