MAKROLON® SL Polycarbonate Sheet (Sun Life)
MAKROLON® SL combines the impact protection of MAKROLON® polycarbonate
sheet with enhanced UV protection and exceptional weatherability. SL sheet also
has the design and structural advantage of thermoformability.
MAKROLON® SL polycarbonate sheet meets stringent UL Section 48 criteria for
use in electric signs. This allows the use of less costly components during
installation, making it a high performance yet economical choice for channel
letters of all shapes and sizes.
MAKROLON® SL polycarbonate sheet comes standard in clear and white.
Custom colors, sizes, gauges, and patterns to match your most demanding
requirements are also available. The material is available as sheet stock
or on reels.

MAKROLON® AR Polycarbonate Sheet (Abrasion Resistant)
MAKROLON® AR abrasion resistant sheet combines the strength of polycarbonate
with enhanced surface hardness. Where vandalism or graffiti is a problem, AR
offers a proprietary abrasion resistant surface to assure long lasting protection.
MAKROLON® AR polycarbonate sheet also has enhanced UV stability for long-term
weatherability.

MAKROLON® 15 Polycarbonate Sheet (Long-Term Weatherability)
MAKROLON® 15 polycarbonate sheet is a new glazing solution that offers long-term
weatherability and is backed by a 15 year performance warranty. It is an
excellent choice for glazing applications where there is potential for glass
breakage. These applications include schools, public buildings, transportation
centers, and in areas where high traffic and vandalism are present.

MAKROLON® HYGARD Polycarbonate Sheet (Security Glazing)
MAKROLON® HYGARD is a security glazing material. Consisting of multiple layers
of polycarbonate or polycarbonate/acrylic with bonding interlayers, these tough,
yet lightweight, materials offer proven resistance to physical and ballistic attack.
MAKROLON® HYGARD laminates are available in six levels of protection, ranging
from containment rated security glazing to UL Level 3 bullet-resistant material
capable of withstanding multiple rounds fired from high powered handguns.
All MAKROLON® HYGARD laminated products feature hard coated surfaces for
exceptional resistance to abrasion and UV degradation. They come with a limited
warranty against coating failure, excessive yellowing, and structural delamination
caused by manufacturing defects.
