Overview
Plexus® methacrylate structural adhesives, based on patented new technology, are designed for structural bonding of nearly all thermoplastics, metals, and composite materials.
A key benefit of these structural adhesives is their ability to provide extremely durable bonds with little or no surface preparation. Plexus adhesives have a proven record of outstanding performance in the most demanding applications in the:
- Transportation
- Marine
- Engineering construction industries
Metal Bonder Adhesives
Plexus® self-priming metal bonder adhesives – MA830 and MA832 – have proven themselves as alternatives to welding and mechanical fasteners in specialty vehicle and outdoor electric sign applications.
For service in highly corrosive environments, aluminum substrates should be wiped with PC120 metal conditioner prior to bonding.
Metal bonder adhesive grades are also available with uniform diameter 0.012" glass beads which serve as in-situ stand-offs to ensure proper adhesive bondline
thickness.
Adhesive Application Equipment
Several types of application equipment are available, ranging from small application guns to M/M/D equipment for use with drums.

One-Component Urethane/Hybrid Polymer Adhesive/Sealants
Plexus one-component urethane/hybrid polymer adhesive/sealants were developed with a specific focus on
commercial vehicle applications such as:
- Trucks
- Buses
- Trains
- Specialty vehicles
These products are quick curing, high initial tack, UV-stable, paintable adhesive/sealants
which provide excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates.
They are available in standard cartridges, sausages and drums.
Three grades are available: H-75, H-100, and H-200
